This course
provides the skills to give members of the public the basic skills to
potentially save a person’s life.
Students will learn about the primary assessment (DRABCD), recognition of
unconscious victims and participate in practical sessions focusing on the
lifesaving techniques of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Rescue
Breathing. Use and training in the application of a Public Access
Defibrillator (PAD) is also included in all of our CPR courses.
Lifeguarding Services Australia recommends that a CPR refresher program is
undertaken every 12 month as per the Australian Resuscitation Council
guidelines, these courses are conducted in association with Risk, Response
and Rescue a Registered Training Organisation, RTO number 90774.
