	Lifeguarding Services Australia is part of the world’s largest Professional Lifeguard Service, providing lifeguards and aquatic safety training to community groups, sporting events and local councils both nationally & internationally through our partner agencies.

Event organisers are responsible for the safety of all competitors and spectators participating in their event. This means that the organiser has a legal responsibility to provide qualified, insured and a fully equipped Lifeguard team for their event.

To estimate the appropriate level of water safety, can be a difficult task, as it’s based on numbers, course layout and level of risk, our staff will assist you with completing your aquatic safety& Rescue Plan

Every year some 10 million people travel to Australian beaches for fun and excitement, most of them will have an enjoyable and relaxing time. But every year, lifeguards perform almost 7,000 rescues.

Lifeguarding Services Australia can assist local government in meeting their staffing and equipment needs by providing seasonal lifeguards to supervise and were needed respond to these potentially life threatening incidents.

95% of a lifeguards work is prevention not response

Personal Costs

Every year it costs $900.00 to train and over $3,000.00 to equip each lifeguard, with the basic tools for their job.

Fleet Costs

Having people and stationary equipment is one thing, moving it, transport and specialist watercraft are also required, the general fleet costs include:

Rescue Water craft $12,000.00
Inshore rescue boat $7,500.00
Patrol Vehicle $45,000.00
All terrain Vehicle $10,000.00
